Computer Science Engineering...

I'm studying in Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),Computer Science Engineering(CSE) branch,V sem. This branch is pretty good...In all 8 semester we have 6 theory subjects and 2 practicals.
1 and 2 semester...
In 1st year we study only about C language(in I or II sem).It is the most important language and basic for CSE students. C is a powerful, high level language...

3rd semester...
In 3rd sem  we had following theory subjects
1.       Mathematics III(MAT III)
2.       Discrete Mathematical Structure  (DMS)
3.       Electronic Circuits (EC)
4.       Logic Design (LD)
5.       Data structures with C  (DSC)
6.       Object Oriented Programming with C++ (OPPS)

Two labs are…
1.       EC/LD
2.       DSC
4th semester...
In 4th sem we had following theory subjects
  1. Mathematics IV
  2. Microprocessors
  3. Graph Theory and Combinatorics
  4. Unix and Shell Programming
  5. Design and Analysis of Algorithm
  6. Computer Organization
And 2 labs are
  1.  Microprocessors
  2. Design and Analysis of algorithm
In Microprocessor theory part we learnt the microprocessor architecture,Assemble Programming language(Its a low level language),Hardware Interface and Memory interface etc...
But in lab,we concentrated  only on 8086 Assemble language...Some interface devices are also used in programming.

In Graph Theory and Combinatorics we study about Graph,Trees,Fundamental Principles of Counting
Principles of inclusion and exclusion etc...

In Unix and Shell Programming we study about Unix Operating System,Basic File Attributes,vi editor, shell,Filters, perl etc...

Design and Analysis of Algorithm.this subject is totally about algorithms...
We study Divide and Conquer,Greedy Method,Dynamic Programming,Decrease and Conquer Approach,Space and Tradeoffs  etc...
In lab we use C language to implement programs. These programs are related to trees and some on sorting techniques etc...Trees concept is covered in  Graph Theory  and other concepts are covered in Design and Analysis of Algorithm.

Computer Organization is a subject to understand  about Basic Structure of Computer, machine instruction and Programs,Input/Output (I/O) Organization,Memory System,Basic processing Unit etc...

Sangeet mahal at Bijapur...

Sangeet Mahal...

The Sangeet – Nari Mahal built at Navraspur, Bijapur is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) away from Bijapur town(Karnataka,India). It is one of the important structures typically representing the Adilshahi architecture in the area. It was built in 16th century. It now has ruins of a palace building and a reservoir, enclosed by a high wall.

“Sangeet Mahal,” was constructed by Adil Shah II, known in the Indian history as “Jagadguru Badshah” for his attempts to bring cultural harmony between Shiyas and Sunnis and between Hindus and Muslims through music.

The Adil Shahi monarchs were great lovers of music; some of them attained high order. Yusuf Adil Shah played ‘’Tambur’’(Tambourine) and ‘’Ud’’ (lute). Ismail Adil Shah had high admiration for Central Asian music. Music received greater encouragement under Ibrahim Adil Shah II. He was the greatest musician of his age. He was poet and singer and maintained an inordinately a large number of musicians and minstrels (three or four thousand) at his court. The band of musicians was known as Lashkar-e-Nauras (army of Nauras) they were paid by the government regularly. At Nauraspur he constructed Sangeet Mahal and residential mansions for songsters, minstrels and dancing girls. With great pomp the festival of Nauras (musical concert) was celebrated during his time. In a number of paintings Ibrahim Adil Shah II was depicted playing musical instruments like ‘’Tambur’’, ‘’Sitar’’, ‘’Veena’’ and ‘’Guitar’’. Emperor Jahangir, and Mirza Asad Baig the Mughal envoy considerably praised Ibrahim Adil Shah II's love for music.

Tennis

ABOUT TENNIS...

Tennis is a sport usually played between two players (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles).
The object of the game is to play the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a good return. Tennis is an Olympic  sport and is played at all levels of society and at all ages.

The players (or teams) start on opposite sides of the net. One player is designated the server, and the opposing player is the receiver. The court and its measurements are as follows...

SCORING...
The outcome of a tennis match is determined through a best of three or five sets system. Recreational players may agree to play any number of sets, depending upon time availability or stamina. On the professional circuit, men play best-of-five-set matches at all four Grand Slam tournaments, Davis Cup, and the final of the Olympic Games and best-of-three-set matches at all other tournaments, while women play best-of-three-set matches at all tournaments. The first player to win two sets in a best-of-three, or three sets in a best-of-five, wins the match. A set consists of games, and games, in turn, consist of points.
set consists of a sequence of games played with service alternating between games, ending when the count of games won meets certain criteria. Typically, a player wins a set by winning at least six games and at least two games more than the opponent. If one player has won six games and the opponent five, an additional game is played. If the leading player wins that game, the player wins the set 7–5. If the trailing player wins the game, a tie-break is played. A tie-break, played under a separate set of rules.
game consists of a sequence of points played with the same player serving. A game is won by the first player to have won at least four points in total and at least two points more than the opponent. The running score of each game is described in a manner peculiar to tennis: scores from zero to three points are described as "love", "fifteen", "thirty", and "forty" respectively. If at least three points have been scored by each player, making the player's scores equal at forty apiece, the score is not called out as "forty-forty", but rather as "deuce". If at least three points have been scored by each side and a player has one more point than his opponent, the score of the game is "advantage" for the player in the lead. During informal games, "advantage" can also be called "ad in" or "van in" when the serving player is ahead, and "ad out" or "van out" when the receiving player is ahead.
game point occurs in tennis whenever the player who is in the lead in the game needs only one more point to win the game.break point occurs if the receiver, not the server, has a chance to win the game with the next point.

WARM UP...
Before to start to play warm up is done for 5-10 minutes. It is nothing but practicing all kind of shots like forehand,backhand,service,drop-shot etc.

HOW TO LEARN TENNIS...
For beginners wall practice is best.Wall practice means play tennis with the wall....
hit the ball with the racquet to the wall again and again. imagine the opposite court on the wall and hit in the appropriate place.Practice it daily to become control over all shots.During practice hit the ball with correct speed. The ball should not hit the net as well as it should go beyond the base line.Do not hit the ball too high above the net, because opponent have the chance to return back with the high speed so that you can't return it back.Hit the ball just above the net and close to the base line.So that opponent get less time to think and to return it.
how to hold the racquet?
It is the most often question have the beginners.Treat racquet like bird.If you hold it tightly it will die ,if you hold loosely it will fly away.Hold the racquet bit tightly so that it should not spin when you hit the ball.
Forehand is usually played with one hand.Backhand is played with both the hands where as some of them feel  with  single hand.
The way to hold the racquet for back hand:

This is the position to to receive the service:

Visit to Ibrihim Roza

IBRAHIM ROZA

We visited Ibrihim roza...

Ibrahim Roza, located in Bijapur, karnataka, India, was constructed by Ibrahim Adil Shah II in 1626 for his queen, Taj Sultan. It is one of the supreme achievement of Adil shahis .The minarets, or prayer towers, are 24 m (about 79 ft) high and may have inspired those of the Taj Mahal.Ibrahim Rauza comprises two buildings, a magnificent tomb and a remarkable mosque enveloped by a garden. Facing each other, these twin buildings have a fountain in between them. Ibrahim Adil Shah and his family are buried here. This whole structure lies above a basement which houses secret passages (used to store munitions and food) and also holds living quarters for the cavalry, with stables opposite.

Beginning part (till 2:10 min) of this song has shot at Ibrahim roza. Next part is shot at barakaman(it is also a historical place) which is also in Bijapur.Thia is kannada movie song.
